Paludarium
Also known as aquaterrarium, paludarium derives from the Latin “palus”, which means swamp.
In this environment, we can simulate conditions that are similar to wetlands or tropical forests. For this reason, the humidity in this swamp can reach 70-80%.
Astyanax - Astyanax sp.
Found throughout Brazil, in rivers, streams and lakes. It feeds on seeds, fruits, terrestrial insects, scales, aquatic vegetables, spawns and other fish. It is kind of small, its maximum size is 12 cm.
